Microsoft has revealed that it is already firmly on the road towards its 1bn target for Windows 10, with some 75m machines upgrading to the new operating system after its first month.
Microsoft released the new operating system on 29 July to largely positive reviews.
By comparison, it took Microsoft six months to reach 100m Windows 8 licenses, so the new operating system can already be considered a success.
Windows corporate vice president Yusef Mehdi tweeted today (26 August) that after one month Windows 10 is now on 75m computers.
